Home Game for Vancouver's fingerstyle guitarist Don Alder at Rogue Folk Club on Friday, May 23rd, 2014

He's at home on stages all over the world, but it has been quite a while since Don Alder performed a full solo concert in his own home town Vancouver. On May 23rd, 2014 he will perform at St. James Hall, Kitsilano, presented by the Rogue Folk Club. The show will start at 08:00 PM; doors open at 07:00 PM.

Don Alder will perform songs from various albums, including new songs from his upcoming CD titled "Armed & Dangerous".
He will be performing all original material including fiery guitar instrumentals that will put you on the edge of your seat and his singing with a voice that will soothe your soul. One could describe his music as "fusion folk, blending pop and instrumental music" while others say "new world fusion with a hinge of bluegrass". Alder describes it as "honest music from the heart".

Eric Hamber Secondary School Music teacher, Reece Worth, wants to provide a full spectrum of music experiences for his students and put the question out to Kitsilano's award-winning acoustic fingerstyle guitarist Don Alder if he would be interested in participating and the enthusiastic answer was: "Yes".
